Steps
- 1
On the device: open Google Play → tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions
- 2
Or go straight to play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions in a browser
- 3
Select Google Play Pass → Cancel subscription → follow the on-screen confirmation
Heads up — Uninstalling a Play Pass app does NOT cancel the subscription — you have to cancel it from Subscriptions directly. Access and any downloaded apps' Pass perks continue through the end of the current billing period; in-app purchases made through Pass get removed but stay available to buy individually, and ads return in apps where Pass had removed them.
If Google Play Pass charges you again after you've cancelled, dispute it with your card issuer — you now have this guide as your proof of the cancellation steps. Skycopia's Protection feature also watches every cancelled subscription and flags a zombie rebill automatically.
