Terms of Service

The service

Skycopia is a personal finance tool that analyzes your transaction data to find recurring charges, help you decide what to cancel, and track your spending. We provide information and guidance — we do not move money, execute cancellations on your behalf, or provide financial, legal, or tax advice.

Your account

You must provide accurate information and keep your login secure. You're responsible for activity under your account. Household sharing is intended for members of your own household.

Bank connections

Linking a financial institution happens through Plaid. By linking an account, you authorize Skycopia to retrieve your transaction data from that institution via Plaid, and you agree to Plaid's End User Privacy Policy. You can disconnect at any time.

Subscriptions & billing

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from Settings; access continues until the end of the paid period. We don't do partial-period refunds, except where required by law.

Accuracy

Subscription detection, price-change alerts, renewal estimates, and savings figures are best-effort analytics derived from your transaction data. They can be wrong or incomplete. Verify with your bank or the merchant before making financial decisions — Skycopia is not liable for decisions made based on the analytics we surface.

Acceptable use

Don't attempt to access other users' data, probe or disrupt the service, reverse engineer it, or use it for unlawful purposes. We may suspend accounts that do.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time (email hello@skycopia.com). We may suspend or terminate service for breach of these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination do.

Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes & contact

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced by email before taking effect. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
